EPICENTER FAIR
Human energy is the soul of ROTHBURY. In this spirit, the Boom Town of the festival site is ROTHBURY’s Epicenter Fair. Visit the Epicenter Fair to enjoy a flurry of scheduled and surprise activities, plus food and drink, vending, performances, presentations, contests and interactive opportunities, and so much more. Explore and engage in ROTHBURY’s Epicenter Fair, and in Alternative Energy. Check back here for details as they develop.
THE ESTABLISHMENT
Dharma/cabaret/punk artist Amanda Palmer (The Dresden Dolls) and Thirsty Girl Productions’ Jen Gapay (New York Burlesque Festival) join heads and hearts to deliver ROTHBURY’s New World Cabaret experience: The Establishment. Held under the Big Top, The Establishment is ROTHBURY’s bold and bawdy spot to get your fix of vaudeville croquet and smart, eclectic entertainment in a bizarre artisto-twistic atmosphere.
Featured acts include Amanda Palmer, The Yard Dogs Roads Show, Mucca Pazza, Project Jenny Project Jan, Estradasphere, Evelyn Evelyn and Sxip’s Hour of Charm a high powered variety show featuring the best musical artists, comedians, circus artists and the indescribable. The All-star Charm line up includes Amanda Palmer, Sxip Shirey, Reggie Watts, Meow Meow, Jason Webley, Trixie Little & the Evil Hate Monkey and Gravity Plays Favorites.
THE TRIPOLEE DOMES
Tripolee is a fantastical interactive experience set within a dome environment with a chill out bar and lounge area. A 3-hour show featuring global DJ’s, live musicians, performers, visual projection artists, and the captivating musical instruments conceived by MASS, Tripolee will host an extravagant party into the night, Thursday through Sunday. Daytime activities at the Tripolee Domes include Yoga Workshops, DJ Master Classes, Earth Harp Instruction, and more. Check back for Tripolee scheduling as it becomes available.
ETOWN AT ROTHBURY
Popular syndicated radio show, etown, brings its own brand of live music and activism to ROTHBURY for three very special shows. Hosting the Rodeo Stage each afternoon, etown at ROTHBURY will feature ROTHBURY musicians and Think Tank participants appearing in etown’s unique and intimate performance and discussion format.

YOGA AT ROTHBURY
ROTHBURY’s Yoga Program offers a unique opportunity to celebrate and expand your yoga practice - or to start one. Each day will bring a new yoga adventure, including practice sessions with renown teachers such as Vanessa Lee and Ian Lopatin (Spiritual Gangsters), as well as innovative classes with special guests including Michael Franti (Michael Franti and Spearhead) and Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls).
Michael Franti shares his perspective on practicing yoga:
"I think the easiest place to make a difference is within you. I wouldn't suggest a path for anyone else, but I could relate what my experiences have been. Practicing meditation and yoga have been great opportunities to use my body as a tool to discover what's inside me. The body is great for that -- to discover your weaknesses, your strengths, your beauty, and discover what it is that's holding you back and what brings pain in your life. Not just the body and the physical self. The self that's inside the body—that's a great start toward changing the world. The other thing is to envision the world you want to live in and make a plan to see where you can have an effect. That's why I make music and travel, performing in prisons and schools. I also talk with military people on the street and I try to bring as much loving, kind energy as I can." - Michael Franti in an interview with College People.com
How Amanda Palmer integrates yoga into her life:
Amanda Palmer has been traveling the globe non-stop since 2002 with her rock band, The Dresden Dolls. Wherever she is in the world, she attempts to connect with the local yoga studios, be it in New Orleans, London, Sydney or Vancouver. She hopes to bring some of her recent teacher-training on the road next year and inspire her younger fans to experience the mindfulness and joy of yoga.
411mania.com asked Amanda how she stays grounded and avoids falling into the cliched "rock star" lifestyle. Amanda's answer was "yoga".Then she laughed and said, "yoga and meditating... and not drinking too much".

ROTHBURY FOOD DRIVE CAN SCULPTURE
Also at ROTHBURY, Conscious Alliance, together with Whole Foods Market, will attempt a Guinness World Record for the largest-ever “cansculpture.” The sculpture, designed by architect John Brittingham and made from over 40,000 cans of beans donated by Whole Foods Market, will be on display at ROTHBURY throughout the weekend. After the event, the cans will be donated to the ROTHBURY Food Drive.

OUR FUTURE NOW
ROTHBURY has partnered not-for-profit Our Future Now to introduce various interactive art installations into the ROTHBURY experience. Scattered throughout the festival site, each unique installation is designed to help us look at our personal and collective environmental impact through different lenses. Be prepared to have your inner art critic stimulated!
DALABIL AND THE VISUAL CONSCIOUSNESS
ROTHBURY invites dalabil and the Visual Consciousness to create thought-provoking large scale art installations on-site that spark conversations and raise awareness around political, social, and environmental issues. In order to compliment ROTHBURY's Commitment, the installations are constructed from reused, recycled and natural materials. Take a stop by The Dream Tree to manifest your hopes or contribute to the Recycledelic Community Mandala with items you find during the festival. You can find these interactive installations and zones scattered throughout the Sherwood Forrest and festival grounds.

MLB ROAD SHOW
The MLB Authentic Collection has your Access to the Show at ROTHBURY with the MLB Road Show!
The MLB Road Show is a free interactive baseball experience with batting cages, pitching cages and video game kiosks, featuring the MLB Authentic Collection - the line of apparel featuring jerseys, headwear and outerwear identical to what is worn by Major League Players on all 30 Clubs.
While at the MLB Road Show, you can take a swing for charity. For every person that steps into the batting cage, Major League Baseball will donate money to the ROTHBURY Music in Schools Program supporting Shelby School District Schools and Montague Area Public Schools.
And don’t forget to show your MLB team pride! The first twenty (20) people each day to visit the MLB Road Show wearing Major League Baseball apparel will receive a pass to the VIP viewing area for that day.
MERRELL RETRO RECESS
